After the rush and excitement of the wedding, we felt that we needed a bit of an adventure and then time to kick off our shoes and relax at the beginning of our married life, so we decided on Malaysia for our Honeymoon.

Once we’ve waved good bye to you all, we will be heading to Borneo to see the Orang-Utans.

The next part of our adventure takes us to Lankayan Island, with its fantastic white sandy beaches. It’s great diving location and we hope to spend some time swimming amongst the fish, turtles and other sea life found in the area.
After a little time on the coast we’re really looking forward to discovering the wildlife of the Kinabatangan River. We’ll be taking a boat that whisks us up the shores of the river where it’s possible to see all sorts of monkeys, birdlife and if we’re really lucky, possibly an orangutan in the wild.
langkawi coast
The last part of our Honeymoon will be spent on the island of Langkawi. We’ll be surrounded by a serene, untouched bay, where the white sandy beaches lead to the clear, cool waters of the Andaman Sea. We hope to spend the rest of our time enjoying a slower pace, drinks under the stars, spa treatments and of course a little sunshine.
We’ve set up a honeymoon registry as we thought that contributions to our trip would be the ideal gift solution. We appreciate any contributions you would like to make.
