US sanctions on Cuba have been in place since the end of the 60s, but with Barack Obama hinting that icy relations between the two nations could be thawing, protestors dodging the travel ban are starting to shout louder.
And it could be just a matter of time before America opens the flood gates and lets the tourist hoards head across the Gulf of Mexico to the incredible island.
So we think now is the best possible time to visit this sultry country with its smoky Latin music, revolutionary atmosphere and tumultuous history.
The face of Cuba is on the cusp of a dramatic change, and you wouldn’t want to miss out on one of the most exciting travelling experiences on offer because you waited for the island to become a new Disney Land.
If you’re serious about taking a trip to Cuba we recommend packing your bags now, because the political wrangling of America wait for no man and this could be your last chance to see the country as it should be seen.
