We’re not one for missing the biggest party on the planet, which is why we’ll be heading to Mexico this September.
You can guarantee that come Independence Day (September 16th) the streets of Mexico will be filled to bursting point with people shaking their thing and partying hard.

Independence Day in Mexico will take your breath away. Celebrations don’t come much bigger than this, and there’s no better time to take to the streets than when the Mexicans wave goodbye to Christopher Columbus and Spanish rule.

Anything goes on a holiday in Mexico when Independence Day comes around, but if you want to feel like you’re at home make sure you wear green, white and red (the colours of Mexico).
And make sure you stock up on antojitos and ponche (finger food and punch) because you’re more likely to run out of steam before the city does.
