We’ve been yelling about Botswana being one of the greatest destinations for big game spotting for ages, but now the country has officially climbed to the top of the luxurious safari circuit in Africa.
A recent readers’ poll conducted by Conde Nast Traveller has cemented the regions awesome reputation – and we weren’t in the least bit surprised.
There are plenty of fantastic safari destinations scattered across Africa – gorilla watching in Uganda and elephant tracking in Tanzania are experiences not to be missed – but Botswana is something else. The diversity of wildlife will leave you awestruck and nothing beats crashing out underneath the stars alongside the Okavango Delta after a full day following big game.
