Each suite and villa has been individually designed for a bespoke feel. The overriding theme is traditional style: think upholstered Louis XV chairs, double beds with oak frames, French doors and chaise longues. You’re bound to find a room which suits your needs, with facilities ranging from double spa baths, to mirrors with theatrical lighting, feather duvets, verandahs leading onto the gardens and small touches such as daily fresh flowers and fruit bowl.

Garden Suites are spacious ensuite bedrooms, and the villa accommodation comprises two-bedroom villas set in the grounds with balconies, dressing rooms, and separate sitting rooms.

Claremont house is utterly romantic and totally relaxing. For the icing on the cake, we highly recommend hiring a vintage car when exploring the surrounding winelands: a truly luxurious experience to add to this New Zealand classic.
