If we say safari, we bet you imagine the plains of the Serengeti teeming with lions, gazelle and herds of zebra.
But what if we could offer you a safari with a difference, checking out one of the world’s most fascinating and frighteningly endangered animals?
Given our propensity for travel with a difference, that’s exactly what you’ll get with our Gorilla Safari Uganda. While this experience will let you get up close to lions, crocodiles and other big game, you’ll also head to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to track down some mountain gorillas.
A report in the Independent this month suggested that there may be as few as 700 of these regal creatures left in the wild, which is sure to shock anyone who has admired them in real life or with the help of David Attenborough on the box.

uganda - a safari destination with a difference
Stay in our boutique retreat named Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge by night and seek out elusive families of gorillas by day – what could be better for anyone who loves close encounters with nature?
This is only part of the trip, so why not give us a ring and we can fill you in on the rest.
