The hunt is on for The New Zealand Herald’s Restaurants of the Year 2009 and first up for nomination is a quaint rustic restaurant, The Shed, located on the serene island of Waiheke. The Shed, part of the award winning Te Moth Vineyards, recently shot up to fame this summer with the help of the Chef, Peter Becker, who moved over from The Boat Shed mid 2009. His menu is light and fresh with hints of Asian accents. Perfect to complement the vineyard’s Bordeaux-style wines during the summer months.
