There are 50 cottages on Kumarakom that are of traditional design yet luxuriously modern with an attached ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, television and phone. The cottages are categorized into 5 different styles.

We love the authentic feel of every cottage and so we should. Over a hundred ancestral homes had been purchased from across Kerala, dismantled and used to create the traditional heritage abodes. This is one resort which you can safely call totally unique. The resort also boasts excellent ethnic Kerala dishes and a traditional tea shop, perfect to stop by after a day’s exploration of the backwaters. We also love the Ayurveda Spa where guests can experience a total mind and body overhaul with body treatments, yoga and meditation.
