Throughout this journey you’ll stay in variety of accommodation. Train carriages (the level of luxury is up to you), local houses, or ger tents in Mongolia (our favourite). These traditional round tents are made from layers of felt and canvas, keeping them warm on the inside against the harsh desert nights. Rugs, fireplaces and cosy beds will welcome you into these havens from the wilderness. Staying in a ger tent you will experience how the nomads have lived for 1000 years: a true cultural experience not to be missed.
