Location
A 35 minute flight, or a four hour drive North of Auckland, Cavalli Beach House Retreat is found right on the waterfront in between Taupo Bay and Matauri Bay. Just 15 minutes from the world-famous Kauri Cliffs golf course and one hour from the tourist hubs of the Bay of Islands, it’s ideal for privacy and tranquility.
Your room
Each bedroom contains a king-size bed, a generous en-suite bathroom, designed so that you can ‘see the sea’ as you shower, and small touches such as complimentary snacks and drinks. Make the most of your spacious balcony and open up the double doors to bring the panoramic ocean view right into your room.
why we like it
When the beach is just twenty metres from your room and you’re falling asleep to the sound of the sea on the pebbles, you know you’re in the right place for total relaxation. We love the luxurious, homely décor: think huge soft sofas, crisp linens, wicker chairs and wood-panelled outdoor decking with nautical themed ropes. The spa is simple yet effective. Deep tissue massage on a private deck with sea views, anyone?
