Make this itinerary yours

Each and every Black Tomato trip is tailored exactly to who you are and what you want to do So tell us about yourself and we’ll create something that’s entirely you.

Start Planning

Having spied the islands from the mountaintop, hop onboard a private speedboat for an afternoon of island hopping through some of the most beautiful of the Dalmatian Islands. Start off on the quiet shores of Vis, where a closed-off existence until 1989 has preserved the traditional way of life to make for an authentic Mediterranean experience. From there, head out to open sea and onto Bisevo Island and the natural beauty that lies concealed beneath it in the shape of the Blue Grotto. A secluded cave, an underground opening brings sunlight flooding in to dance across the interior in hues of azure blue. A trip where it’s VIP treatment all the way, skip the queues of those desperate to see the spectacle for themselves and jump aboard a rowboat to drift across the shimmering surface in peaceful wonder.

A Forgotten Paradise

After a few days, set sail southward by private boat for the island of Hvar. Check in at the Adriana Spa Hotel and make the most of their indulgent spa offerings after a morning spent hiking the island’s coastline. Making your way through pine forests, secluded coves and quaint bays, you’ll come to the charming village of Milna before continuing uphill to the forgotten village of Malo Grablje, all the while breathing in the aromatic scent of pine and lavender. Abandoned over 50 years ago, the village has morphed into an open-air museum that pays testament to a bygone time. Learn more in the company of your host Berni, as he whips up a traditional taverna-style lunch in one of the small stones houses he owns in the village.

Rejuvenated after a signature Adriana spa treatment, your private skipper awaits to whisk you through the enchanting Pakleni Islands. 11 playful islets looked over by Hvar, spend a couple of hours sailing across the shimmering waters stopping off for a swim and a sunbathe at whichever cove takes your fancy.

Old World Romance

Continue to revel in the delights of Croatia as you board your private motorboat once more to cruise south to our out-and-out favourite; Korcula. Stop off en route at the peace and tranquility of Scedro Island before rounding the corner to fall head over heels in love with this tantalising first glimpse of this utterly captivating port. A place where old world Croatian charm is personified, your love affair with Korcula continues on a private walking tour exploring the birthplace of Marco Polo and the alleged origin of the Silk Road. Make your way along the ramparts to the San Marko Cathedral and Museum of Icons before falling back into the luxury of your hotel at Lešic Dimitri Palace.

Final Port of Call

Tearing yourself away from the captivating island ambience of Korcula, take to the seas once more for a private cruise through the Elafiti Islands. An archipelago of 13 irresistible islets where lush woodlands and white rocky outcrops bring the tropical hues of the Adriatic to life, spend some time cruising the coves, bays, beaches and authentic fishing villages in search of the perfect spot for a quick dip in the sea. For a truly authentic taste of these islands, stop off at one of three that are inhabited for a truly local lunch feasting on fresh seafood, hauled in before your very eyes.

From Elafiti, it’s then onto your last port of call on this sundrenched Croatian escape; Dubrovnik. A city whose towering seafront ramparts remain iconic across the world, discover this fortified city rising up out of rugged coastline on a private walking tour. Stroll down the Stradun to uncover the cobbled intricacies of the Old Town before emerging onto a bustling, cosmopolitan port which lends itself perfectly to a dose of luxury. Relax a while longer at Villa Dubrovnik, a boutique haven with glorious views of the sparkling Adriatic before heading out for one of the country’s most iconic walks along the two-kilometres of city walls. As the sun dips down in the distance and the moonlight shimmers on the waters of the Pearl of the Adriatic, take a moment to reflect on the wonder you’ve uncovered on this beautiful sail through the beauty of Croatia.
