For the next two days investigate the National Park on foot, taking on the epic hiking trails marvelling at the elliptical shapes that proudly dominate the landscape of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Indulge your sweet tooth at the many strawberry picking farms that surround the park, and as the sun sets behind the crests of the mountains enjoy a bush tucker BBQ on the deck of your lodge. A pretty perfect end to the day if you ask us.
the scenic rim
Today leave your mountain haven and set off for the Scenic Rim, a two hour drive away, passing some of South Queensland’s gorgeous hinterlands as you go. Your base here will be the luxurious Peppers Spicers Peak. With nearby vineyards this is the spot to enjoy the hearty variety of Australia’s best loved vino. After a day in the great outdoors your hotel is the perfect spot to unwind surrounded by delicious comfort, curl up with a good book in the library, or share tales of your escapades over some whole-hearted Queensland cuisine.
capital of cool
Bid a warm farewell to countryside and head to Queensland’s famed capital; Brisbane. A city with a vibrant spirit and a flawless year-round climate, it’s hard not to love this place.
