The prestigious Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa is steeped in authentic charm and is the perfect destination for sun-lovers and culture junkies alike. A stone’s throw away from a myriad of archaeological and cultural treasures, such as Mdina’s medieval ‘Silent City’, Corinthia Palace Hotel transports you to the heart of Maltese culture and history. This secluded bolthole has it all, from one of a kind steam gardens, to its Athenaeum spa and fitness centre, we can’t think of a better place to soak up the Maltese sunshine.
Located right in the centre of Malta, Corinthia Palace is the ideal hot-spot for exploring this beautiful island. For those keen to keep their finger on the pulse, this oasis is only a short drive from Malta’s capital, Valletta, and Sliema’s amazing shopping centre. However, nestled amongst lush gardens, its also the perfect place to escape, relax and unwind.
The rooms at Corinthia Palace use deep reds and golds, or blues and silvers on the furniture, carpets and curtains to create an appropriately regal atmosphere for your luxurious surroundings. All have lovely views from their balconies or private terraces over the hotel’s gardens and are the perfect place to end a wonderful day of sun-bathing, spa treatments or island exploring. Enjoy a warm Maltese evening from your room balcony with a glass of wine in hand and a glorious sunset in the distance.
WHY WE LIKE IT
The way to our heart is truly through our stomach and the hotel’s exquisite cuisine is what sets it apart as one of Malta’s top hotels. From the far eastern menu at the Rickshaw restaurant to the seasonal and exotic The Summer Kitchen, which serves mouth-watering homemade pizza, fresh pasta and perfectly-cooked grills, there is a culinary experience to suit everyone. Our favourite has to be the elegant Villa Corinthia which, aside from gorgeous desserts, serves a quintessentially British afternoon tea every Sunday for a dose of sophistication in the sunshine.
