Fellah Hotel, Marrakech

An inspirational design hotel with a cultural core, The Fellah hotel sits in the heart of the Moroccan desert just outside the vibrant city of Marrakech with awe-inspiring views of the Atlas Mountains – especially come sunset.  The hotel has a strong art influence, with a vast selection of beautiful contemporary pieces everywhere you look – think rustic driftwood, fresh white fabrics and rich Moroccan colours complementing the natural, earthy tones of the desert. Made up of 69 spacious rooms and suites the Fellah is so much more than just a gorgeous design hotel, it is a hotel with a heart. Unique to the hotel is its link to the Dar al-Ma’mun not for profit organisation, which allows guests a unique insight into the local arts community.

Location

Surrounded by stunning vistas of the serene Atlas Mountains, Fellah hotel sits in a peaceful valley just eight miles from the vibrant medina of Marrakech and is only a 30 minute drive from the airport. Ochre coloured sands line the hotel grounds with palm trees and cactuses dotted around, you can expect to really feel at one with the beautiful desert flora and fauna – the hotel even has it’s own farm.

Your room

Spread over 11 hectares, Fellah hotel boasts a selection of 69 luxury guestrooms ranging from junior to superior suites. This cultural oasis boasts contemporary art adorning the walls, with every room unique and stunningly decorated combining bright neutral colours with earthy, rich Moroccan tones for a truly luxurious Middle Eastern feel. Polished stone floors and sumptuous linens complement both the traditional Marrakech design and the modern minimalist feel. The Villas sleep between 14 and 20 people, with a private hamman, swimming pool and fully equipped kitchen. All villas and suites boast Zellige tiled bathrooms, free-standing rainfall showers, with deluxe suites including a private deck and outside stone bath.
