Diana Wrangham

Happiest on the back of a horse, or diving the depths of the Coral Triangle, experiencing the wonders of wildlife and the freedom of the great outdoors is the travel I love most. Growing up on a farm in the wilds of Northumberland, hours were spent roaming the moors, so the urge to explore far flung places became more prominent. A few years later, with a degree under my belt and with various summers spent working on a horseback safari in Mozambique, I headed to Central America. Starting in Mexico and covering all the countries down to Costa Rica, it was on a beautiful island just off Honduras that I discovered my second love- diving. A PADI Dive Master qualification later, and having now dived WWII wrecks in the Philippines, as well as with thresher sharks and manta ray, diving continues to dominate much of my time spent abroad. Most recently however, I’ve been lucky enough to visit Chile and Colombia, completely falling in love with South America. This part of the world now burns most brightly on my bucket list and luckily, being part of the Black Tomato team means the adventure is never ending. What’s next? The Galapagos for some diving with hammerheads- yes please!
