Being half French and half Moroccan, I had an early education in the ways of two very different cultures. It left its mark. In the years that followed, I saw Canada and America – settling in Montreal to complete my studies in tourism. From here, I made my way to Australia, New Zealand, and Tahiti, before finally landing on – and in – Asia.
As a proud mother, I love taking my kids across the world; helping them to discover his roots in Morocco and France, while opening their eyes on the wider world beyond.
In a way, the work of a Travel Expert isn’t so dissimilar; it’s about taking my own experiences and using them to help our travelers discover their own great adventures. This itself is a journey; one that lasts not days, or weeks – but years. What we share is the world. For us, at Black Tomato, we’re here to share that road with you, becoming your go-to authority whenever you have an itch to scratch or a curiosity to pursue. Happily, this is a journey without an ending.

A closer look at MoroccoBeing half Moroccan, it’s no surprise that Morocco is (and will forever be) one of my favourite destinations. After all, it holds so many fond memories from my childhood, my wedding, and my ‘mini-moon’. I fell in love with it long ago, and I enjoy nothing more than seeing my clients do the same. The blue medina walls of Chefchaouen, the arc of the Rif Mountains, the stars of the Agafay Desert. Each one as enchanting as the last.
