The Chesterfield Palm Beach
The Chesterfield had us at “Hello” – or rather, the moment they handed over the glass of sherry on arrival. It’s fair to say that it’s the king of boutique hotels, exuding a classy but eccentric vibe and laying claim to a history that spans back decades. Much like Madonna, The Chesterfield has recreated itself time and time again (and always gets it right).
Location
Located on the rather aptly named Cocoanut row, The Chesterfield stands in the center of a quiet, residential area, making it a perfect retreat away from Palm Beach’s busier districts. Despite this cozy location, however, you’re still only two blocks north of the infamous Worth Avenue and the beach is less than a ten minute stroll away.
Your room
This is where The Chesterfield really gets exciting. The hotel boasts an array of rooms that vary in design. If you’re looking for simple and elegant, they’ve got it. A romantic, dimly lit hub? Done. And for you quirkier folk, there are even rooms that have gone pattern mad. Whatever your taste, you can rest assured that all of these rooms are finished to an impeccable, sophisticated standard, and come equipped with all the modern amenities you could ever need.
Why we like it
Putting aside the freshly baked cookies that they offer at front desk (yes, you read that right, and they’re delicious), The Chesterfield really does go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Okay, so we’re a little biased, but the English touches especially, make a huge amount of difference (think extremely attentive staff and afternoon tea). We recommend you take part in the Victorian Tea Experience. Trust us, you’ll have a great time – we know, they taught us how to read the future in tea leaves.
