Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, Fort Myers & Sanibel
Fort Myers & Sanibel, on the south west of the Florida peninsula, is home to glistening white beaches and verdant scenery befitting its outlook onto the Gulf of Mexico. Where else should you stay then but somewhere that makes the most this paradise? The elegant Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa is set in 26 acres of beachfront land where action-packed adventure meets utter relaxation.
Location
Tucked amongst the mangroves and only a few minutes from beaches worthy or a postcard or two, the Hyatt is still only a short drive from Southwest Florida International Airport. Should you find reason to leave the resort then an exploration of the surrounding area would be rewarded with museums, botanical gardens and water sports galore.
Your Room
Choose from seven different types of room, all boasting warm colors, elegant design and rich fabrics. With a view of the bay from your private balcony, you’ll feel the stresses of work wash away with the tide. After dinner at one of the resort’s award-winning restaurants head back to the luxury of your room and rest your head on the softest of pillows. Or, for you social types, there’s plenty of space to do a little entertaining. We’ll take our invite in writing, thanks.
Why we like it
We couldn’t resist the kayak and canoe tours on offer. We were hard pushed to decide between a historical tour through the mangroves and a moonlit paddle along the rivers of Estero Bay, so we did both. Sure, our arms are tired but it was worth it to watch the dolphins and manatees playing in the secluded bays and creeks.
