Nuss Hotel, Buenos Aires

Understated yet chic, contemporary yet traditional, the Boutique Nuss hotel situated in Buenos Aires’ largest and arguably most cosmopolitan barrio; Palermo Soho – will not disappoint. Housed in a 1930’s Spanish- style convent the 22 sleek guestrooms provide the ideal base to sample the surrounding area’s plethora of restaurants, bars and independent boutiques.

Location

Being located in Buenos Aires’ most bohemian and creative barrio comes with certain perks; think tree-lined avenues bursting with hip boutiques, artisan markets, relaxed cafes and countless bars and restaurants. You will be wandering the vibrant streets of Palermo before you know it; Buenos Aires domestic Jorge Newberry airport is only 15 minutes’ drive and Pistarini International airport just a 40 minute drive. The city’s main attractions are never far away, simply hop in a taxi or take the nearby subway – it couldn’t be easier.

Your Room

All of Nuss’ 22 guestrooms and suites feature the same uncomplicated combination of traditional and modern decor, creating an alluring and eclectic atmosphere that perfectly fits in with the local area. Each complete with quirky furniture, plasma screen TV, personal bar and complimentary Wi-Fi, it’s your home away from home. Imagine hardwood floors, sumptuous king-sized beds and a white and charcoal color scheme that will instantly relax you after a day spent navigating Buenos Aires varied landmarks.

Why we like it?

It really does combine the best of both worlds; spend your days exploring Buenos Aires’ rich history and colonial architecture and spend your nights exploring the bohemian, contemporary barrio that is Palermo Soho. Head up to the hotel’s expansive roof terrace for a dip in the plunge pool or even better kick back with a drink at the rooftop cocktail bar, scanning the busy avenue below. We loved the laid back vibe here, although if you’re feeling particularly active you can always try out the hotel gym.
