The Aubrey Hotel Santiago

The Aubrey is a quiet retreat buried in the hustle and bustle of Chile’s capital city. The restored mansion hosts 15 individually designed rooms, decorated with a combination of classic and modern furniture. Most rooms have balconies – ideal for relaxing, and if you fancy cooling down then take a dip in the equally relaxing jacuzzi swimming pool with a cocktail. If the first-class rooms aren’t enough, the in-house restaurant is regarded as one of the best in the city, serving international cuisine with world famous Chilean wines, and cocktails and tapas in the Piano lounge. With everything you need at your fingertips, it would be easy to not leave the hotel.

The Bellavista neighborhood – known as Santiago’s artistic quarter – is home to bars, restaurants and a lively nightlife scene. Hidden amongst the liveliness, The Aubrey is both an art deco gem and a historic artefact, a tranquil setting in the center of Santiago, just when you need it. The city of Santiago has a huge range of cultural activities, including museums on local history, a thriving art scene and cafes and restaurants. Wine tours are also popular, and exploring a little further towards the mountains that encompass the city will lead you to more adventurous activities such as trekking, climbing and skiing in the colder months. You’ll be relaxing before you even realize you’re off the plane, as Santiago International Airport (SCL) is only a short 30 minute journey from The Aubrey. There’s no better way to recover from your flight than jumping in the pool.

Your Room

You’re sure to find a perfect place to stay in one of the Aubrey’s fifteen individually designed rooms. We loved the spacious suites, ideal for a honeymoon or those wanting something a little bit special. Mod cons such as Wifi, LCD TVs, and mini bars are available in every room.

Why we like it

Who would say no to a complimentary drink? Definitely not us, especially when it is dubbed as “the best Pisco Sour in Santiago”. Offered on arrival, the local specialty is made from Chilean pisco, and pica lemon. We’ll cheers to that.
