Why we like it
One of the things that makes this hotel so special is its stunning, panoramic views of New York City. For an unbeatable sunset view, the Top of the Standard is open to everyone from the afternoon until 9pm when it becomes a private members club. Enjoy listening to live jazz music and sipping on specialty cocktails for a classy and sophisticated evening 18 floors above the ground. Next door, Le Bain, the rooftop bar and nightclub offers world class music and even more spectacular views of the city. Go in the summer and you’ll find a delicious creperie and even more exciting, a plunge pool on the dance floor. For those feeling more active, a bike ride along the Hudson River at sunset is an absolute must.
