So whether you’re a sailing pro or a total novice we’ve got it covered. Picture lazy days skimming the azure waters on-board a luxury yacht, hopping from each blissfully perfect island to the next. With this island nation being all about life on the water they also hail some perfectly secluded luxury retreats. So once you’ve had your fill of the ocean we’ll put you up in one of our favorite BVI retreats for a few nights rest and relaxation…

Your floating palace

As soon as you touch down in the BVIs you’ll be whisked off to your home for the next six nights, your very own 59 ft. floating palace. Ranging in a variety of sizes these super-luxe lodgings can accommodate anything up to four guests. Designed with elegance and power in mind, so whether you’re looking to get behind the wheel yourself or leave the commandeering to a professional (yes please) you’ll be in safe hands. With an on-board chef to cater for your every whim look forward to indulging in some seriously delicious fare, from local classics like lobster conch, to Southern Mediterranean favorites.

Island to island

The great thing about being out on the water is that each day is totally different to the next with new stunning vistas and scenery around every corner. We recommend starting off in Tortola and heading to White Bay, Peter Island, where you’ll find secluded beaches and plenty of snorkelling and diving sites to tempt you into the water. Once dried off you can explore the rest of the island, home to our favorite island resort in the BVIs; Peter Island Resort. Once you’ve got a taste for the BVI diving culture, make your way to the holy grail of diver spots; the Wreck of Rhone off Salt Island. After lunch sail up to Long Bay, Virgin Gorda, for a late afternoon rum punch with the locals and a few sea-faring tales.

For more island paradises and yachters havens make your way to Eustatia Sound where you can explore the core of the BVI yacht scene, The Bitter End Yacht Club. From here you can sail past the exclusive Necker Island and Guana Island before making waves towards the famous and unspoiled island of Jost Van Dyke. It’s here that you can really soak up the vibrant island culture and the islands infamous drinking haunts where you can really let your hair down.

Finish off your watery excursion on the stunning island of Virgin Gorda. Explore the natural wonders of The Baths; these impressive boulders are scattered along one of the island’s sandy beaches, with an abundance of natural rock pools and alcoves to be explored. From these natural wonders sail back to Peter island for one last cocktail as you watch the sun set beyond the horizon.

One fine bay

For your last two nights in the BVIs you dock on the island of Virgin Gorda for a slice of the luxury beach life at Little Dix Bay. For the next two nights lounge on the sands or get out and explore the bay. For a little indulgence the award-winning spa is where you can be pampered to your heart’s content. For a unique insight into Caribbean culture head to Spanish Town. Just a 15-minute stroll from the resort, the town is home to the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour.
