We’re recommending our favorite spots in southern California from LA to Palm Springs for the ultimate sun-soaked, chic getaway. Live the Hollywood A-lister life as you explore the best hangouts in town; experience the stores, the sand, and the mountains for an immersive vacation.
Get ready for the style and sizzle of celebrity-studded Los Angeles. After meeting your private driver, head to the London West Hollywood Hotel, up in the Hollywood hills, where you’ll rest your head for two nights. On your first night in Hollywood, relax by the rooftop pool and gaze out at the lights of the LA skyline from one of our favorite glamourous vantage points in the city. When you wake up, embark on a glitzy Los Angeles experience that’s been tailored to you: indulge in a truly fashionable bespoke personal storeping experience with a stylist to the stars as you work your way through some of LA’s chicest stores. Next on the agenda? Enjoy a private cocktail lesson from a world-class mixologist who’ll help you brush up on your skills. In your spare time, explore the city with the aid of your personal driver.
SANTA MONICA SAND
Get away from the city and head to laid-back Santa Monica, where you’ll stay at the world-class Californian beach retreat, Shutters on the Beach, for the next two nights, situated right on the edge of the beach. Take a surfing lesson on the Pacific coast, bask in the Californian sun and watch the world go by at the famous Santa Monica Pier. Stroll along Third Street Promenade in downtown Santa Monica, with its many boutiques and restaurants, exploring this favorite beach town of ours. As the temperature settles down, head back to Shutters’ poolside lounge and watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean, cocktail in hand, of course.
VINTAGE PALM SPRINGS
Once you arrive in Palm Springs, rest your head at the Riviera Resort & Spa, where you’ll stay for three nights. This classic hotel was the place to be in Hollywood’s heyday and once welcomed the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, and Marilyn Monroe. In the morning, continue your West Coast fashion odyssey with a trip to the boutique stores along Palm Canyon Drive in the center of town, and then head out of the city for a ride up the Aerial Tramway at dusk. Here, the world’s largest rotating tramcar takes you up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon for spectacular views over Coachella valley. Take an extra layer – temperatures can change from the bottom to the top of the tramway by as many as 17 degrees Celsius. For more views, hike over Mt San Jacinto, part of the second highest mountain range in southern California. From its heights you can see incredible views of Palm Springs far below you.
