Hidden deep in the beautiful Bavarian Alps, Schloss Elmau is located in a stunning valley near the Germany\/Austria border, just outside the winter ski resort Garmisch and only 100km south of Munich. Despite its remote location, getting here isn\u2019t as difficult as you might think; just a quick flight to Munich and a two-hour drive on from there. Another option is to fly into Innsbruck, only 45 minutes away, for a shorter and more scenic drive to the hotel. Trains also leave from Munich or Innsbruck almost every hour to Garmisch or the village of Klais which is only 5km away from Schloss Elmau.<\/p>\n
