It\u2019s just around the corner from the impressive Imperial Palace and a 10 minute walk from Central Tokyo Station, so really couldn\u2019t be in a more convenient urban location. Not that you\u2019d pay any attention to the outside world in this luxury hideaway.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Your Room<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Set up to mimic the intimate Ryokan home\u2014albeit a chic, minimalist one\u2014each room is decked-out in an authentic Japanese style but with the finest of furnishings. Hand-crafted bamboo and shoji paper sliding doors come as standard in rooms and quiet corridors that are fragranced with incense and flowers. Choose between the spacious Kiku suites or their more intimate Yuri and Sakura rooms, all offering the upmost in comfortable elegance.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Why We Like It<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Ochanoma Lounge where you can sample prized teas, sakes and coffees that change in accordance with Japan\u2019s 27 unofficial seasons; the inspired French-Japanese cuisine from an award-winning chef; the ryokan-style spa\u2014there are plenty of reasons to like Hoshinoya. But number one is the slick rooftop thermal bath. Filled with alkaline waters from the natural hot springs found 4,920 feet below the building, here you can forget the world busying down below and lose yourself in the
