Our seven-night safari takes you to two of India&#8217;s stunning wildlife\u00a0parks, Bandhavgarh National Park and Kanha National Park, on a quest to spot three of the world&#8217;s most incredible species; Bengal tigers, leopards and elephants in their natural habitat.<\/p>\n<h2>GET BACK TO NATURE IN KANHA NATIONAL PARK<\/h2>\n<p>After a fleeting night&#8217;s stay at The Imperial in New Delhi, a quick flight from India&#8217;s capital\u00a0takes you to Jabalpur, where you&#8217;ll be met by your private driver and whisked off on a four and a half hour drive through the Madhya Pradesh countryside to one of our favorite jungle\u00a0boltholes, Taj Banjaar Tola, ready to begin your safari experience. Even if you&#8217;ve been on an African safari before, there&#8217;s nothing quite like an Indian safari; driving through silent forests in search of leopards and tigers listening out for the peacock alarm calls (a sign that the big cats are close) is an experience like no other. It&#8217;s these forests\u00a0in which Rudyard Kipling based the setting for The Jungle Book, and you&#8217;ll soon see why this enchanting jungle inspired such an iconic novel.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>EXPLORE THE LAND OF TIGERS<\/h2>\n<p>After a morning safari in Kanha, a five-hour drive will take you to Bandhavgarh National Park, India&#8217;s top place\u00a0to spot the world&#8217;s largest cat, the Bengal Tiger. Being in the heart of the forest doesn&#8217;t mean you have to slum it, we&#8217;re whisking\u00a0you off to Samode Safari Lodge for three nights, a luxurious yet authentic retreat in the heart of the wilderness.
