Arriving into the Cali sunshine at Palm Springs International Airport it\u2019s a ten minute drive by private car to the retro Riviera. Or if you fancied that California road trip it\u2019s a scenic two hour drive from LA. The Riv is footsteps away from the Indian Canyons as well as the Palm Springs Air Museum, but our favorite it jumping on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. It\u2019s the largest rotating tramcar which rewards you with spectacular views of the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon.<\/p>\n
Waking up to a garden, mountain or poolside view is not a bad life, although getting out of your bed could be a struggle. For us when we think about Palm Springs we imagine lounging effortlessly by the pool, big shades and a cocktail in hand – the Riviera does not disappoint. It provides two pools with private cabanas for you to perfect your sun bathing skills, and then when you are dehydrated a visit to the appropriately named Bikini Bar is a must.
