Every now and again we come across a little gem that is so breathtaking we simply have to let the pictures do the talking. Bighorn in Revelstoke, British Columbia is such a place and with an amazing array of services all thrown in (think private chefs serving up gourmet feasts with chilled champagne, its own cinema, an indoor swimming pool and sauna not to mention the fully stocked cocktail bar) we really can’t think of anywhere better to enjoy an incredible week on (and off) the slopes.<\/p>\n
Private helipad anyone? That usually does the trick for most people and with your own chopper sitting right outside your back door ready to fly you high into the mountains, you will be spoilt for choice with incredible off-piste powder experiences. If heli-skiing sounds a bit daunting then fear not, the resort\u2019s chairlifts are just moments away; what\u2019s more, Bighorn even comes complete with chauffeur-driven transportation to whisk you into town for some retail therapy and a glass of wine (or two).<\/p>\n
There are eight luxurious suites to choose from each with their own balcony and since you have the whole place to yourself, it really is just a case of deciding which of your friends gets dibs on which room. Decisions made, step inside a tranquil haven of fur rugs, calm alpine tones and an oversized wooden bed. Of course, the modern touches are all taken care of with flat screens and audio systems throughout.<\/p>\n
What better way is there to unwind than to spend an hour in your bubbling outdoor hot tub with views of the Colomba River and Monashee Valley stretching out before you? Oh, by having a glass of champagne in hand. Sorted.<\/p>\n
