On the outskirts of Inuvik, deep in Canada\u2019s Northwest Territories, the cabins of Arctic Chalet are perched peacefully in expansive landscapes far enough removed to offer a true off-the-grid experience, but close enough to civilisation to appease the social butterflies amongst you. Your best bet is to fly from Yellowknife direct to Inuvik and then it\u2019s only a very short drive on the magnificent Dempster Highway to get to your secluded lodgings.<\/p>\n
Each of the four cabins are divided into two or three separate rooms and sections in order to maintain the privacy of guests and come equipped with a few essential modern amenities as well as queen size beds (or singles, depending on your choice). For that extra bit of luxury however, we\u2019d definitely suggest reserving the \u2018Twilight Cabin\u2019; it\u2019s a little more spacious, entirely private, has a double shower and its own porch complete with propane barbeque. Regardless of which cabin you choose, you can be sure to expect deep and rich wood furnishings that provide maximum style and comfort without compromising the authentic integrity of your lodgings.<\/p>\n
Rustic cabins set in the grand wilderness of the Northwest Territories; what\u2019s not to like? The Arctic Chalet, though set in the beautiful landscapes, does not entirely rely on this for its success however.
