The Lanna-style buildings stand right at the center of Chiang Mai\u2019s old town, the 13th century capital of the Lanna Kingdom. Staying at the Tamarind Village though, with its trees, lawns and black and white squirrels, has us feeling like we\u2019re lost in the middle of the last millennium.
