On this 12-night luxury island escape, we’ll show you a few of our favorite Caribbean hideaways, where you can take a step back and ease yourself into the laid-back luxury vibe that exudes from these islands. On the exclusive hideaway of Mustique, spend a few days with your toes in the sand, before setting sail aboard your very own yacht for the day where we’ll show you the best spots around Tobago Cays to anchor up for a secluded picnic, before cruising on to the paradisaical private island of Petit St Vincent. To neatly round off this incredible Caribbean island hop, we’ll fly you onto the glamorous island of Barbados, a Black Tomato favorite.
Hideaway on Mystical Mustique
Your first stop is on the private island of Mustique. Cotton House has long been a favorite hideaway for the world’s well-heeled, searching for an escape from ever watchful eyes. At just three miles long, the island is so small it’s virtually unknown to the rest of the world. Expect pure white beaches and crystal clear waters with the opportunity to go snorkelling and diving to get acquainted with the local underwater life. All the suites and cottages are elegantly furnished with four-poster beds and boast a private terrace or wrap-around veranda with views of the Caribbean Sea or the Atlantic Ocean. Take advantage of the stretches of soft, sandy beaches while you’re here and enjoy a picnic on a secluded shoreline with no-one to disturb you. Once you’ve had your fill of beach time we can arrange a horseback ride up into the tropical forest to explore the dramatic landscapes.

Start PlanningCruise the Caribbean
Tearing yourself away from the luxury of Cotton House, your next stop on your Caribbean island island-hop is Petit St Vincent (known to its friends as PSV). Jumping aboard your private yacht with captain and crew at hand, you’ll start a whole day’s sail towards your next island destination. Passing Petite Mustique, Canouan and Mayreau as you go, stopping when it takes your fancy to explore these secluded little islands. For lunch, you can break at the stunningly beautiful Tobago Cays for some freshly prepared lobster on board. Tobago Cays is a nature lover’s paradise, home to a Marine Park and Reserve with 4km of Horseshoe Reef and 14 acres of sand-bottomed lagoon to explore. Swimming through the gentle waves, you’ll spot green turtles among the colorful corals whilst above water, you’ll spot birds nesting and roosting in the trees. Of course, if you’d rather the journey to PSV be short and sweet we can organize a flight for you and there’ll be plenty of chances to go turtle spotting once you’re settled on the island.
Exhilaration and relaxation on PSV
Staying in your own Caribbean cottage, your stay on PSV can be as relaxing or exhilarating as you chose. With a spa and yoga teacher at your disposal, you can be truly pampered and meditate facing the calming Conch Bay. Paddle your way around the island by kayak, try your hand at windsurfing, or take the plunge on a diving lesson where you can explore the surrounding bays and reefs. On land, you can hike along the trails of the island and spot exotic birds. For a day off the island, take an excursion to a nearby islet and explore the deserted beaches to your heart’s content. We’d recommend Chatham Bay on Union Island which is completely off the beaten track. With a few lobster shacks and one restaurant in the bay, it’s a great place for beachcombing and snorkelling.
Imbibe the scene in Barbados
Met by a luxury car at the airport you’ll travel in style to your beautiful boutique hotel, Cobbler’s Cove. Set in tropical garden surroundings and overlooking the ocean, the hotel is a haven of peace and tranquillity, whilst also being close to all the main sights of Barbados. Just a short drive away from the capital city Bridgetown, you can still while away the hours in awe of the colonial architecture. Or, if you’re craving some heart racing thrills, we can arrange a day trip to the Atlantic coast for a spot of surfing at the Soup Bowl, or to the coast of Bathsheba to tackle the waves on a kite-surfing trip. Top of our list is always a catamaran cruise around the island, but you can also take to the skies for a bird’s eye view tour in a microlight aircraft where you can view the spectacular scenery. For a more relaxed day out, spend your time sampling the island cuisine with one of our favorite local chefs who will show you the best local hideouts on the island. Our top picks include the Fish Pot restaurant or Fishers Pond Barbados for an unbeatable Sunday brunch. Don’t miss the island’s national dish of cou cou and flying fish – and of course, be sure to try the local rum with a visit to the historic distillery at St Nicholas Abbey. Back at the hotel, guests can take a swim with native Hawksbill turtles who frolick around the inshore coral year-round.
Fully relaxed and bronzed by the Caribbean sun, it’ll soon be time to leave, but the islands will always be waiting for your return…
