Brown’s Hotel

The beautiful Brown’s Hotel, a Rocco Forte Hotel, sits in the heart of London’s most exclusive borough, Mayfair, a prime location within walking distance of key shopping streets such as Bond Street & Regent Street, and near all the major theaters. Opulent interiors and individually decorated suites make for classic British luxury, with a sophisticated yet modern feel. The hotel boasts 115 rooms, of which 33 are suites. All are furnished to the highest standard featuring a combination of antiques and contemporary artwork. No stay at Brown’s would be complete without sampling the award winning afternoon tea, and both the Donovan Bar and The Restaurant at Brown’s offer an impressive wining and dining menu.

LOCATION

Sitting proudly in one of London’s most prestigious and glamorous postcodes in Mayfair you won’t find a better location than this for your city stay, with the theaters of the West End, four Royal parks and the luxury boutiques of Bond Street a moment’s walk away. Kickstart a luxury vacation in the UK here – and you can’t go wrong.

Your room

The 115 rooms of Brown’s Hotel have been meticulously designed by Olga Polizzi to create a home-from-home feel with an exquisite mix of traditional and new. All the rooms are luxurious and spacious, but if you want to take opulence to the max, go for one of the suites. They’re elegantly and uniquely decorated to maintain their period features. Expect a bottle of Ruinart Champagne on arrival in your suite and there’s a choice of pillows, duvets, mattresses and bed clothes to ensure optimum comfort.

WHY WE LIKE IT

As London’s first hotel, having opened in 1837, Brown’s has really set the bar high with President Roosevelt staying there on his honeymoon and Rudyard Kipling and Agatha Christie penning many of their quintessentially British novels there. Oozing elegant British charm, this is the perfect hotel if you’re looking for a slice of London’s finest. Make sure you indulge in a legendary Brown’s afternoon tea while you’re there, the scones are out of this world.
