Hidden amongst the trees and backwaters, Purity at Lake Vembanad is the perfect retreat to enjoy true Keralan culture.

Location

This luxury boutique hotel is located in Muhamma, a small village surrounded by lush vegetation in the southwest part of Lake Vembanad and an hour’s drive from Cochin International Airport. Its waterfront setting means there is a short boat ride over to the island at the end of your journey. There are an abundance of activities including scenic village tours on tuk tuks, cycling, yoga and cooking demonstrations.

Your Room

Individually decorated, guests can chose from deluxe rooms, garden suites and Vembanad suites which vary in size, with the larger suites being more ideal for families. Tiled flooring and wooden furnishings, with colorful cushions and stained glass windows make for a luxurious home-stay feel.

The network of mysterious, tree-fringed backwaters should be explored by cruise on traditional kettavullams.  Meander through tiny villages amidst aquatic, plant and bird life for a unique Keralan experience.
