Built up on the remains of an ancient Roman Villa, the Bellevue Syrene is a luxury retreat perched on top of a Sorrento cliff side. With marvellous views of The Gulf of Naples, this secluded hotel is the ideal location for a romantic break. Any one of the 16 rooms will provide a wonderful, calm atmosphere in which to rest your head after a day spent experiencing the local Italian culture.
A small town 50 km from Naples, Sorrento is where sea and mountains, nature and culture come together. Located on the Piazza della Vittoria, an hour away from Naples Capodichino International Airport, Bellevue Syrene will arrange for a private car to pick you up. If you ask us, there is no better way to view the idyllic Italian landscape than cruising along the coastal roads. It certainly makes for one fabulous arrival. From here it is possible to take day trips to fascinating Napoli, Capri and Pompeii and fully immerse yourself in Italian history.
Spectacular sea views complement the different color accents of each room, think turquoise blue, sunflower yellow, or ruby red. Colours are set against stark white walls with each room’s interior enriched by unique local art, full of character. All of this is enhanced by the glorious Mediterranean sun flooding through the glass balcony doors, creating a light, peaceful haven to appreciate the views, the calm and each others’ company.
WHY WE LIKE IT
We absolutely love the location, with its arresting views making for a truly magical stay at Bellevue Syrene. Outstanding landscapes impress in every direction, with guaranteed sea views from your room and both hotel restaurants as they look out over The Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. With a well-furnished library, a serene Beauty Centre and a stylish Club Lounge you may find it hard to get out and experience all that southern Italy has to offer. The Bellevue Syrene also has an excellent answer to the only thing missing in Sorrento: beaches. Their private sunbathing deck, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, is an unbeatable location to enjoy the rays. Be warned though – the calming sounds of the sea against the deck are likely to send you off to your afternoon siesta. We dare you to find another Italian hotel which will match the charm and elegance of this one…
