Location

With no roads leading to Anjajavy, this private island off the North East cost of Madagascar is only reachable by private plane- it’s a short flight from the town of Majunga that will land you gently in the heart of this 550 hectare reserve (its official you’ve arrived at ‘the end of the world’). With seven creeks, too many species to count, endless sandy shores, coral remains and an abundance of wildlife to explore- it really is an untouched natural paradise.

Your Room

Each of the rosewood villas line the sandy shores of the Mozambique Channel, so you can wake up, jump out of bed and stroll straight onto the beach to feel the sand between your toes. After a long day of sun, sand and adventures take a soak in a your bubble bath as you listen to the waves lapping against the shores of the white sandy beach. With private hammocks and your own private terrace- lie back and watch as the sun goes down before heading upstairs to rest your head.

If the infinity pool doesn’t take you fancy, head off on an adventure through the private nature reserve to one of the seven private creeks- chances are you’ll be the only souls around discovering Anjajavy’s hidden gems.
