This beautiful scenery means you don’t even have to leave your room to see the big 5, however, with guided safari drives lead by the lodges expert Shangaan trackers at your disposal you’re perfectly placed for very close encounters with these beautiful creatures right in your back yard. Then there’s the freedom to end your day in the wilds with a dip in the pool, or an invigorating massage. Now, what’s not to like?

Each of Chitwa Chitwa’s suites showcases an inimitable blend of unpretentious style and contemporary colonial chic infused with earthy African tones. The best bit, however, has to be that each suite comes complete with its own plunge pool for an alfresco dip against a background of interrupted wilderness. Stroll out onto your spacious private timber deck and enjoy a glass of exquisite (we don’t use that word lightly) local tipple whilst you gaze out over the lake.
