The Standard, High Line is located in Greenwich Village, in the Meatpacking district of New York City. Greenwich Village is an ideal downtown location for those in search of great food and restaurants, and Whitney Art Museum and Chelsea Market can both be easily reached either by foot or on stylish black and gold bicycles that the hotel provides. Trendy shops and boutiques sit right on the hotel’s doorstep so make sure you pack light. For easy travel around the city, the subway is just a short walk away and the closest airport, La Guardia, is less than eight miles from the hotel.

Enjoy listening to live jazz music and sipping on specialty cocktails for a classy and sophisticated evening 18 floors above the ground. Next door, Le Bain, the rooftop bar and nightclub offers world class music and even more spectacular views of the city. Go in the summer and you’ll find a delicious creperie and even more exciting, a plunge pool on the dance floor. For those feeling more active, a bike ride along the Hudson River at sunset is an absolute must.
