Arrive in Kathmandu to join Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims across the city, where mesmerizing performances, smells of incense and chants of prayers will show you Nepal through the eyes of its unique people.
Leaving the beautiful Dwarikas Hotel in the morning, you’ll head up to Everest base camp by private helicopter. The view for breakfast doesn’t get much better than this. After your trip up, head back down to visit the house of Kumari, the living goddess who is revered and worshipped by many and represents the divine female energy. You’ll get the opportunity to participate in her private worship, performed by members of her family and rarely seen by outsiders.
Moving on from Dwarikas’ Hotel to their Resort in Dhulikhel.
The resort has a special focus on the complete wellbeing of an individual, drawing on lessons from the surrounding Himilayan region that has practiced many of the methods you’ll experience for centuries. You’ll soon see why these communities have never wanted to leave the mountains.
Your last day in Nepal is at your leisure. The options though are pretty amazing. Hiking, pottery, painting, foraging, yoga, the list is exhaustive. Our recommendation, however, is to experience the culinary side of Dwarika Resort.
The resorts attention to wellness filters through to meal preparation and the dining experience itself.
After leaving Nepal your journey takes you from one ancient kingdom to another, and into Bhutan. A country few have ever seen from the outside. This beautiful country is home to the Himilaya’s and what some say are the happiest people on earth. Once you’ve been you’ll soon see why.
