At the heart is a central lodge where you’ll find the dining room, wine cellar, spa and swimming pool. Cottages are then scattered across the farmland giving you that all-important privacy throughout your stay and at your fingertips, there’s an award-winning golf course, trout fishing, walking trails, 4WD expeditions and much more.
Location
Rosewood Cape Kidnappers is located in the southeast of New Zealand’s North Island in the Hawke’s Bay Region. Direct helicopter flights from Auckland take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Your room
There are 22 cottages, each offering stunning views of the 6,000-acre property. The cottages resemble rustic farm barns from the outside with wooden panelling and feature-barn-doors. Step inside and you’ll be greeted with out-back country style living: think crisp white linen, window shutters and rattan furnishing with all the modern comforts. Sliding white barn doors open up to your spacious bathroom equipped with an oversized bathtub and his and her sinks. For a more luxurious stay, why not treat yourself to the Hawke’s Bay Four Bedroom Villa with its sumptuous lounge, handsome fireplaces and open plan kitchen and dining area; it’s the perfect retreat for that home away from home break.
