The Farm at Cape Kidnappers is a luxurious lodge set on 6,000 acres of sheep and cattle farm that rolls right up to the sheer dropping cliffs overlooking the South Pacific. The Farm’s heart is its central lodge where you’ll find the dining room, wine cellar, spa and swimming pool. Cottages are scattered across the farmland giving you that all-important privacy throughout your stay and at your fingertips, there’s an award-winning golf course, trout fishing, walking trails, 4WD expeditions and much more.
Cape Kidnappers is located in the southeast area of the North Island in the Hawke’s Bay Region. Direct helicopter flights from Auckland to the Farm takes approximately 1 hr and 45 minutes.
There are 22 cottages available at The Farm that all offer stunning views of the 6,000-acre property. The cottages resemble rustic farm barns from the outside with wooden panelling and feature-barn-doors. Step inside and you’ll be greeted with out-back country style living: think crisp white linen, window shutters and rattan furnishing with all the modern comforts. Sliding white barn doors open up to your spacious bathroom equipped with an oversized bathtub and his and her sinks. For a more luxurious stay, why not treat yourself to The Owners Cottage. Made up of four bedrooms, a sumptuous lounge, handsome fireplaces and an open plan kitchen and dining area; it’s the perfect retreat for that home away from home break.
