In Morocco, the only search engine you’ll need is the stars.
Some travel operators will set you down in a nice but not particularly special hotel. You’ll wait around for taxis that lead you through choked roads and throw you out in the medina of Marrakech. You’ll be there, but you’ll feel apart from it. Almost involved; as if you’re living in a simulation. With our bespoke Moroccan itineraries, however, we work closely with local contacts and guides; seamlessly conveying you from stupendous hotels (such as the palatial Royal Mansour and Kasbah Tamadot) to immersive cooking tours, desert sidecar rides, and Berber encampments in the breathtaking Agafay Desert. You’ll stop for mint tea and tagine with village locals in the Atlas Mountains; visit the secret, hidden city of Chefchaouen and more. We specialise in luxury Morocco holidays for a reason.
Feel free to use the below as inspiration, then get in touch to enquire about your very own luxury Morocco vacation.
Morocco’s mix of African, Middle Eastern, and European influences creates a tantalizing recipe everyone should taste at least once. Away from the bustling alleys of Marreckech’s Souk el Attarine, the green-footed Rif Mountain range and photogenic rock formations of Legzira Beach are just two natural wonders that this mesmerising vacation destination has to offer.
As if birthed from a fantasy film, Morocco resembles a dreamworld. The city centers are like labyrinths, and different alleyways introduce you to different characters; snake-charmers, market merchants, tarot-card readers. Needless to say, this intoxicating land is best explored with a plethora of luxury hotels and tours, and we can guarantee a Moroccan vacation as dreamlike as the movies.
Observe the enchanting clay-colored Red City from the ground up as you whizz around its secret backstreets in a vintage sidecar. Hop off and immerse yourself in a behind-the-scenes street food tour that will take you to the stalls you can’t miss, introduce you to the characters that run them and the stories behind them all. Sharpen your bartering skills with the help of an experienced local guide as you shop the labyrinth of colorful market stalls.
What’s better than a champagne toast on the ground? A champagne toast in the air, especially if that in-air glass of bubbles is enjoyed while watching the sunrise over the Atlas Mountains. Few places in the world do hot air balloon tours like Morocco – picture an otherworldly landscape, clear skies, and a dash of adrenaline.
Step into Fes. Walk its vast, pedestrianized urban areas and catch a glimpse of the Andalusian art and Kufic calligraphy found in the ancient 9th century University of Al-Karaouine. Once you’ve admired the traditional architecture and intricate tapestry work that peppers the Medina (we’ll arrange a private tour guide if you’re unsure what you’re looking for), you’ll want some time to digest your day. We suggest you enjoy a private dinner of modern Moroccan dishes, such as sashimi with zaalouk at the exclusive Nur fusion restaurant.
Morocco’s Blue City feels like it was made for the camera. Prove just how gorgeous its blue-washed buildings and zig-zagging alleys are with the aid of a photography tutor in an exclusive masterclass. Hike the surrounding hills and Rif Mountains to find that perfect angle as you learn about Chefchouen’s history and the Jewish residents that gave the town its unique color palette during the 15th century.
Whether you want to sleep under the pitch-black skies of the Sahara Desert in your own Blink camp, or in a more conventional luxury riad townhouse in the center of Marrakech, we have you covered. Here’s a little taste of some of the Moroccan hotels we collaborate with to create your perfect vacation.
Step inside the peaceful grounds of the Royal Mansour and you’ll instantly forget your in central Marrakech. Blessed with beautiful gardens lined with orange, lime, and lemon trees, each of its opulent private riads offer unrivaled luxury. From the unique, vintage birdcage design of the spa to the pretty mosaic tiles and marble, the Royal Mansour will floor you at every turn. As for dinner, a three-starred Michelin chef from France guarantees gastronomic perfection that’s truly fit for a king (the hotel is owned by King Mohammed VI of Morocco).
The Riad Fes is the ultimate place to indulge after a day touring Fes city and boasts the town’s best views from its rooftop cocktail bar. The deluxe suites perfectly balance traditional Andalucian details with contemporary style and come with a private terrace where you can watch the sun go down.
Kasbah Tamadot offers impressive vistas of Mount Toubkal and its surrounding peaks, which are best observed from the heated infinity pool. A calming oasis that’s the perfect tonic after a day or two exploring Marrakech, the mixture of traditional Moroccan interiors, world-class cuisine and serene ambience are essential Morocco.
If you’re looking for a more immersive Sahara desert adventure, then we’ll organize a plush Blink pop-up campsite. Even if you simply want a unique setting to enjoy a gourmet dinner under the stars, we can create a luxury campsite to cater to your every whim.
Whether you prefer to view it from camelback, quad bike, or helicopter, the mesmerizing sunset of the Agafay Desert shouldn’t be missed. Let us pull some strings and you can enjoy a romantic meal in your personal Blink campsite as you’re entertained by local belly dancers as they shimmy to the sounds of hypnotic gnawa music.
Marrakech
A dazzling former imperial city in the country’s traditional West.
Marrakech, with its riotous tilework and intricate Islamic design, is built around its bustling medinas, historic mosques, palaces and gardens. The Moorish minaret of 12th-century Koutoubia Mosque overlooks it all; a city of exceptional dining, opulent interiors, and vibrant streets.
The Atlas Mountains
To the Berbers, these are Idraren Draren – the ‘Mountains of Mountains’.
This massive formation of mountains spans some 2,500km across northwestern Africa. Its peak is mighty, snow-capped Toubkal; in whose valleys and foothills are Berber villages, winding roads, stunning treks, and some of the world’s most beautiful hotels and palaces.
Essaouira
Feel the breath of the wind in this UNESCO-protected coastal city.
This historic port city on Morocco’s Atlantic coast is focused on a historic medina and protected by the Skala de la Kasbah; ramparts at whose feet are beaches popular with surfers who make use of the Alizée trade winds. Gentle verandas, peaceful streets, blue fishing fleets, and charming restaurants.
