The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort
Renowned for its breathtaking views, Tubkaak hotel is the perfect romantic getaway. This resort is secluded and secret and located in Krabi which is a quaint town on the West coast of Southern Thailand. Nestled in a hidden corner facing the archipelago of 13 islands with views of the Andaman Sea, it is almost impossible to leave. As an authentic Thai hotel, the décor is traditional and mimics its surroundings with trees emerging from the ground to surround the pool and create pathways down to the enticing crystal clear sea. With three suites, two villas and four rooms, privacy is paramount.
LOCATION
A 45-minute drive from the airport will lead you to this paradise. Surrounded by two islands in the distance, which block all monsoons from the south, the weather is guaranteed to be stunning. Due to the reclusiveness of the resort, there are a variety of activities on offer to transport you to untouched islands. Scuba diving, golf, hiking and swimming are all options as well as the traditional, more romantic method on long-tail boats. The most important location is the spa; snuggled among the trees, the unusual design of cocooned treatments rooms were created with couples in mind, a good chance to relax and rejuvenate.
YOUR ROOM
The unique rooms all offer stunning views across the sea and onto the majestic Hang Nak Mountain. With a distinct Thai ambience, all rooms are spacious with a cozy feel. The suites are perfect for honeymoons, with your own private terrace and sumptuous designs adding that little extra panache. Not forgetting the best part, all rooms have an outside sunken bath, perfect for star gazing into the late evening.
WHY WE LIKE IT
Not only is this the quaintest romantic getaway, but it is also host to three highly renowned restaurants. With varying beautiful scenery, it is hard to choose so make sure you sample all three; the two restaurants on the beach offer sublime views of the islands and are perfect for a dreamy meal or just sipping cocktails. The Italian restaurant is our favorite, with a relaxed atmosphere overlooking a lotus blossom pond; the main event here is the food.
