Turks and Caicos
COMO Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos
Hidden away in the crystal-clear waters of Turks and Caicos lies Parrot Cay, a barefoot beach dream which boasts over a thousand acres of white-sand beaches; a stunning backdrop to the island’s spectacular sunsets. The hotel is also home to the award-winning Shambala Retreat Spa, which promises to soothe, restore and nurture your body and mind. From the sensational food to the private butler service and the breath-taking landscape; Parrot Cay is more than a resort, it’s a sanctuary.
Location
Floating in paradise does require a commute. Just a short one though, we promise. From the International Airport at Providenciales you’ll take a 15-minute drive to the dock, followed by a 35-minute sea journey to Parrot Cay. From plane to pool in under an hour, there’s a reason Parrot Cay is so irresistible.
Your Room
Guests can choose between veranda rooms, suites, beach houses and villas during their restful stay on the island. All are marvellous choices, however, if we had to pick, it would be hard to look past The Sanctuary. Owned by acclaimed designer Donna Karan, the interior reflects her eclectic world travels with eye-catching antiques and beautiful design. This unique property is made up of a main three-bedroom villa and is complemented by two further four-bed villas, perfect should you be traveling with friends or family. Complete with two butlers and a chef, plus a private pool for each villa (and one to spare), you’ll scarcely need to leave.
Why we like it
Although it is a gorgeous destination in its own right, COMO Parrot Cay is also the perfect base for day trips and excursions. The accommodating staff are more than happy to organize a day out for you. Whether you’d like a private picnic lunch in your own Tiki Hut, or a day snorkelling, waterskiing or tubing – or perhaps a private sunset cruise is more your style? A multitude of dream day getaways are at your fingertips at COMO Parrot Cay.
