Star Wish Guesthouse, Longsheng

Standing at an altitude of over 800 meters on the Longji Terraces of Longsheng, Star Wish Guesthouse boasts astounding views over the surrounding rice plantations. This quaint guesthouse promises a memorable stay in a unique mountain setting.

Location

Located in Ping’an Village high atop the mountain, Star Wish Guesthouse is a two hour drive from Guilin. The village itself is home to an eclectic mixture of different tribes and so is a great place to discover and learn more about these minority cultures. Ping’an Village is also the perfect base from which you can partake in some trekking through the stunning countryside. At such a vantage point, the views of the centuries old rice terraces built into the hillside are incredible.

Your Room

The guesthouse has 21 simply decorated yet charming rooms and suites. Each room has air conditioning/heating, tea and coffee making facilities and sports a charming traditional decor, so you are provided you with all the comforts you’ll need. The Garden Room is our favorite, having its own private balcony with uninterrupted views of the rice plantations.

Why we like it

The position of this charming guesthouse won us over completely, so make good use of the rooftop garden from which you can gaze out upon the expansive rice plantations by day and spend your evenings star gazing.
