The Opposite House is a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Beijing. Both modern and spacious, there’s no better place for weary travelers to rest their heads on arrival in this mammoth city and no better place from which to explore the delights the capital has to offer.
Located in the Chaoyang district of Beijing, The Opposite House is close to a number of bars, restaurants and stores and is within easy reach of The Forbidden City. Its location, much like the hotel itself, is great for experiencing both the modern and historic aspects of Beijing.
The Opposite House has 99 rooms and suites and one two-level penthouse. Each of the rooms effectively blend modernity with tradition and are light and airy triumphs of design. With light wooden floors, luxury bathrooms and large, comfortable beds, this hotel is an oasis of calm and light standing distinct from the buzzing subwaypolis of Beijing.
Why we like it
We loved the chic feel and modern, quirky design of this hotel. With its huge open spaces and unique collection of artwork, The Opposite House is a calming place to retreat to each day. We also loved the restaurants in this hotel and recommend you try some of the delicious cocktails that are served in the Mesh bar which has a contemporary lounge that’s great to relax in after a long day of sightseeing.
