Explore Canada: Charlevoix and Saguenay
For a small and relatively sparsely populated area, the Québécois managed to squeeze a heck of a lot into the Charlevoix region, a UNESCO World Biosphere. Petite it may be, but it’s not shy of entertaining people. Back in the day, it played host to several American presidents and the rich Anglophone bourgeoisie who arrived on big white boats and steamships during the Belle Epoque era. Since then, it’s still opening its arms to the many visitors that come its way.
