Location

Situated on the hillside of the Punakha Valley, Dhensa is only a 15-minute drive from Punakha Dhong and a moderate 3-hour drive from Thimpu Airport. For the culture vultures among us, Dhensa is only a five-minute trek away from the magnificent Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery which his home to one of the biggest and most spectacular bronze statues of Chenrigzig in Bhutan.

Dhensa’s 24 suites marry contemporary design with this Himalayan Kingdom’s ancient and alluring ways. All of the 45 square meter suites are bright, vivacious and flaunt beautiful Bhutanese handmade pieces all accompanied by a lookout from the rooftop of the world onto one of the Mother Nature’s most glorious national treasures.
