Situated on the hillside of the Punakha Valley, Dhensa is only a 15-minute drive from Punakha Dhong and a moderate 3-hour drive from Thimpu Airport. For the culture vultures among us, Dhensa is only a five-minute trek away from the magnificent Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery which his home to one of the biggest and most spectacular bronze statues of Chenrigzig in Bhutan.
