Malaysia
Cameron Highland Resort, Pahang
The Cameron Highland Resort is located on the largest hill retreat in Malaysia known as Cameron Highlands. The hills here are wrapped with tea plantations and enclosed by lush greenery and jungle trails, allowing for some breathtaking views right from your bedroom window. The character of Cameron Highlands remains untouched since the colonial times, and with picturesque black and white house dotting the hills, you may not believe you’re halfway across the world in Asia.
Location
The Cameron Highland Resort sits 1,500 meters above sea level in the highlands of the state of Pahang, just 200km north of Kuala Lumpur. With temperatures ranging between 15°c and 25°c, it’s the only area in Malaysia where you can be surrounded by tea plantations and delicious strawberries. With such an ideal temperature all year round, this gorgeous boutique hotel is the perfect bolt hole to get away from it all.
Your room
Large, luxurious beds are a staple in every room at the Cameron Highland Resort. The simple white, creams and earthy tones reflect the colonial era of the area and create an atmosphere of complete relaxation. This matched with the calm brought by the gently rolling hills and golf course outside every window allows for the most peaceful stay.
Why we like it
With tea plantations and strawberry farms all around, we love that the hotel takes full advantage of their healing properties. A mint tea soak or a strawberry scrub anyone? The Spa Village uses the best properties of the surrounding ingredients and local techniques so that you’ll be leave feeling as good as new.
