Hop on a ferry from the mainland and 30 minutes later you’ll arrive at this idyllic island getaway, completely surrounded by wild meadows and stunning unspoilt shoreline. For the wandering traveler, ferries depart every hour so you can keep your flexibility intact.

Choose from one of the 13 uniquely themed rooms, including romantic hideaways swathed in lace and maritime-themed rooms filled with period antiques. All rooms are decorated traditionally so as to transport you back to the early 20th century and boast stunning views out over either the lush gardens or across the icy ocean waters.

Styrsö Skäret provides top-class service on an intimate scale. The long list of activities available includes cooking classes and beer, whisky and chocolate tastings to tempt your taste buds and introduce you to some local specialities.  For the more active adventurer, hop in a boat and head out to sea or borrow a bike and explore the beauty of this archipelago island on two wheels.
