The Brazilian Court

Nestled in amongst towering palm trees and lush gardens, The Brazilian Court is the kind of hotel that feels more like a private home. It’s all about authenticity here, with weathered flooring imported from a disused winery in France and real metal keys as opposed to flimsy electronic cards. Inside, the walls are clad in Cyprus wood, filling the entire building with a delicate fragrance, and punctuated by the occasional splash of color from a piece of modern art. Lounge by the pool on elegant white daybeds or while away an afternoon at renowned stylist Frederik Fekkai’s salon and spa, before indulging in a romantic candle-lit dinner served al fresco on the garden terrace.

Location

Set right at the heart of Palm Beach and still just two blocks from the sea, the Brazilian Court is ideally located, whether you want to explore the city, or simply stretch out on the sand and soak up the Florida sunshine. Just footsteps away from Worth Avenue – Palm Beach’s answer to Rodeo Drive, you’ll be perfectly placed to satisfy any shopping withdrawal symptoms.

Your room

Dotted along a dimly-lit corridor, the rooms here reflect an almost regal feel, with dark wooden furnishings warmed by rich fabrics and deep orange tones. All the suites are subtly different, featuring a series of individual characteristics, from hidden dens to powder rooms and private gardens. Slip out onto your outside terrace for a nightcap or two before sinking into a large four poster bed pilled high with cushions.

Why we like it

Yet again we’ve been seduced by food, and the Brazilian Court has plenty to shout about on the culinary front. The brain-child of New York based chef Daniel Boulud, The Brazilian Court’s Café Boulud serves up some of the best breakfasts in town, as well as a lunch and dinner menu brimming with beautifully presented and expertly crafted dishes. Make sure to leave room for desert…
